In terms of cask recipe, Macallan Quest is not entirely dissimilar to the old Macallan Fine Oak range, being matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and sherry casks plus some refill hogsheads. A fresh, elegant, gentle Macallan with a nice mix of fruit and sweetness.
