An old bottle of Macallan 1963 Special Selection, this official bottling has both imperial and metric values for its volume and strength and therefore dates from around the turn of the 1980s.

Usually aged between 16-18 years, the Special Selection vintage Macallans were a short-lived precursor to the famous official Macallan 18-year-old blue ribbon bottlings that appeared in the mid-1980s. These early 1960s vintages are always phenomenal drams, dripping with high quality sherry flavours and showing a remarkably refined structure and balance.
