A limited edition Tobermory 25-year-old Oloroso Sherry Finish Island single malt whisky released by the distillery in 2023 as Expression 3 in their ongoing Hebridean Series.

The Hebridean Expressions are a range of progressively older Oloroso sherry-finished official bottlings from a batch of casks that were originally earmarked to be Tobermory 15-year-old but were subsequently reracked into Oloroso sherry casks from legendary sherry producer Gonzalez Byass. The first Expression bottling was a 23-year-old released in 2020 and the series is scheduled for a total of five editions. 

This 25-year-old Tobermory Oloroso Sherry Finish has therefore received around ten years of secondary maturation in the Oloroso casks before being bottled without colouring or chill filtration at its natural cask strength of 48.1%. This was an edition of 5298 bottles and these Hebridean Expressions have all been excellent, rich, funky, earthy, sherried drams - so be quick if you want one.
