An old litre bottle of Talisker's iconic 10-year-old single malt whisky, this is an official Classic Malts bottling from the 1990s with the famous map label showing the distillery's home island of Skye.

Talisker 10-year-old was a different animal in the 1990s with a much more robust character - although medium-peated, the phenols are very forward on the palate, along with hot spices and white pepper.

Mercifully, these wilder elements are usually offset by a subtle honeyed sweetness, but this old 1990s Talisker 10-year-old will still be a revelation to anyone who's only previously tried the modern iteration.
