A new limited-edition release for 2026 from the Yorkshire-based Filey Bay (Spirit of Yorkshire distillery): the Filey Bay Porter Cask #2.

This interesting single malt whisky was initially matured in 1st fill ex-bourbon casks before undergoing an extended finish in ex-porter casks for nearly three years. This represents a significant maturation milestone for the distillery, especially when compared to the inaugural 2024 release which featured an eight-month finish. The result of this extra time in the wood is a bolder, maltier, and more complex dram that showcases the distillery's unique brewing, distilling, and farming expertise.

Bottled at 51.4% with just 990 bottles produced, this expression offers notes of chocolate cereal and roasted malt on the nose, leading to a full-bodied palate and a rich, dark marmalade finish.
