Rosebank 1990 | 30 Year Old Release 1 Bottled 2020

Rosebank 1990 | 30 Year Old Release 1 Bottled 2020

Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 48.6%

An old bottle of Rosebank 1990 30-year-old Batch 1 Lowland single malt whisky released in 2020 by the distillery's new owners Ian MacLeod Distillers, who swooped in and bought Rosebank from Diageo in 2017.

This Rosebank 1990 30-year-old Release 1 was, as the name implies, the first official bottling of Rosebank after the MacLeod takeover and was a small batch made up of 62% refill sherry butts and 38% refill bourbon hogsheads, yielding a total of 4350 bottles at its natural strength of 48.6%.

This 1990 Rosebank 30-year-old is a delightful dram showing citrus and exotic fruit, sweet honey, caramel and balancing dry oakspices. A landmark release for the soon to be revived Rosebank distillery.
