This 10-year-old was Old Fettercairn's standard entry-level whisky in this era and the distillery's spirit was just as quirky as today, though perhaps a little funkier. The majority of these old bottlings show a robust, characterful, frequently waxy, style that often had more than a hint of soil and autumn leaves.
