Released in 2018 to celebrate the opening of Macallan's fancy new distillery, Macallan Edition Number 4 has been assembled from a recipe of first and second fill American and European oak sherry seasoned casks, with cask types including butts, hogsheads and puncheons.

A sought-after bottling of Macallan, Edition Number 4 celebrates sherry maturation without letting the wine overpower the spirit, and at a bottling strength of 48.4% there's more intensity than one finds with other Macallans at 40%.
