This is the 75cl version bottled for the brand's sole US importer at the time, Premiere Wine Merchants, Inc, New York.
These old vintage 18-year-old Macallans distilled in the late 1960s and early 1970s were matured in Oloroso sherry casks of a quality that has been unsurpassed ever since, and all of the early 1970s vintages are particularly great whiskies - very complex, fruity and leathery with strong tobacco and hazelnut notes.
