An old bottle of the iconic Macallan 18-year-old Sherry Oak Cask Speyside single malt whisky matured as the name suggests, entirely in sherry-seasoned casks. This is the 2020 edition of this hugely popular dram, so the whisky would have been distilled in 2002 or earlier.

One of the all-time classic after dinner sherried Speyside single malts, Macallan 18-year-old Sherry has developed a devoted following that now numbers in the millions, and although the distillery has been considerably expanded even since this whisky was made, there will likely never be enough sherried Macallan 18-year-old for everyone who wants it.
