Ledaig is of course the peated whisky made by Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, and this 13-year-old Ledaig 2007 matured in a refill sherry butt cask with an outturn of 572 bottles at 59.7% When Ledaig first started becoming trendy around 2009 it was with 3 to 5-year-old sherry monsters; these longer-aged, more complex teenage refill sherry casks are usually superb and have reinforced the distillery's popularity.
