This 1992 Islay (La) 31-year-old matured in Cask 6776, a bourbon barrel that yielded 247 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.8%. There’s two distilleries this could be from, and of course either would be absolutely great, but a little detective work has us convinced that this is from the more south-westerly of the two ‘La’ distilleries on the south coast.
