This 28-year-old Glendronach 1993 was matured full term in an Oloroso sherry puncheon Cask #2458 that yielded a generous 688 bottles at its natural cask strength of 55.2%, which is a rather roundabout way of saying this will be amazing whisky.

Nose: Elegant fine chocolate with date, plum and raisin, on a base of spiced walnut and warm toasted oak.

Palate: Full bodied with dark chocoalte, mulled wine and cassis, with lingering walnut, coffee and raisin.
