Like its predecessors in the series, Batch 4 of Glenallachie's magnificent 21-year-old is a celebration of the distillery's affinity with sherry casks. This Glenallachie 21-year-old comes from a small batch of Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon casks selected by owner and Master Blender Billy Walker, and was a small batch edition of 2000 bottles at its natural cask strength of 51.1%. A fabulous after-dinner sipper.

Nose: Waves of Clementine zest, raisins and honeycombe with cocoa, fruitcake and caramelised brown sugar.
Palate: Bursts of baking spices, rich chocolate and heather honey, followed by treacle, orchard fruits and black cherries, with sweetened espresso on the finish.
