This 1988 Fettercairn 28-year-old came from Casks 2033 & 2034, sister hogsheads that yielded a total of 478 bottles at a highly respectable 52.9%. Indie Fettercairns have traditionally far outperformed the distillery's official bottlings - although the OBs have vastly improved of late under Gregg Glass - and this is one of the best indie casks from the distillery in the last decade.
