Fettercairn 16 Year Old 4th Release Bottled 2023
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distillery Bottling 70cl / 46.4%
Fettercairn's 16-year-old whisky has been one of the distillery's most interesting bottlings since it first appeared in 2020. This is the fourth edition, which was released towards the end of 2023, and like its predecessors it's been bottled at 46.4% without colouring or chill filtration.
The cask recipe for Fettercairn 16-year-old changes each year, with previous iterations being aged in various combinations of bourbon sherry and port wood. This fourth edition Fettercairn 16-year-old began its journey in ex-bourbon casks before a generous finishing period in first fill port pipes, ensuring delicious berry and cooked dark fruit flavours.
