An old bottle of the impressive cask strength 40-year-old Deanston bottled for Travel Retail in 2016, at the time this was the oldest official release from this relatively young Highland distillery, which began production in 1966.

Initially matured in refill casks for approximately 30 years, and bottled without colouring or chill filtration, this Deanston 40-year-old was finished in an Oloroso sherry butt for ten years before release and was a limited edition of just 480 bottles at a natural cask strength of 45.6%.
