Already something of a classic, this was composed from the last of the Bruichladdich's notoriously excellent 1986 batch of fresh sherry casks. The quality shines out of this one in the glass, big coastal leathery sherry with notes of blood orange, preserved lemons, tar, hessian and minerals. Fantastic and evocative like the best Bruichladdichs so often are.
