An old bottle of Brora 30-year-old Highland single malt whisky that appeared as part of Diageo's Special Releases in 2010. This was the ninth Brora bottled for the Special Releases and the eighth and final iteration of Brora 30-year-old in the series.

Bottled from a mix of bourbon and sherry casks at a natural cask strength of 54.3%, this Brora 30-year-old 9th Release was an edition of just 3000 bottles from a batch of less heavily-peated stock most likely distilled in 1979 or 1980. A textbook example of the more lightly smoky Broras, giving full expression to the farmy, waxy, fruity aspects of the classic Brora character.

For many fans, this superb dram was the best Brora 30-year-old since the legendary 2004 edition and has rarely been surpassed by any of Diageo's subsequent official bottlings from the distillery. A superstar Brora.
