An old bottle of Bowmore 12-year-old, bottled at some point in the 1990s or very early 2000s with the much-loved screenprinted label that was discontinued very soon around the turn of the millennium (after trade customers complained it was unreadable in the low level light conditions in bars and hotels).

This lovely old Bowmore 12-year-old would have been distilled at some point around the late 1980s, so some batches are rather flowery or perfumed - but the best of these old editions show delightful soft peat and exotic fruit notes.
