They really know how to select whiskies and this Ardmore is no exception.

Distilled in 2009 and matured in an ex-bourbon cask #1312. It was bottled 9 years later in 2018 at a cask strength of 58.5% and with a yield of just 217 bottles.

Nose: Lingering smoke and coastal salinity, with sea salt and wet slate being followed by citrus and ferns.
Palate: Creamy vanilla coupled with subtle smoke, oak, and soft stone fruits.
Finish: Vanilla, soft peat and smoke alongside stone fruits and wood shavings.
