Now something of a legendary bottling this is big, full bodied and powerful whisky - just without the peat. A kind of naked, stripped back Ardbeg that throws up lots of honey, black pepper, sea shore notes, very delicate medicinal touches, pine resin, herbal liqueurs and big background spices. Delicious and fascinating.
