A bottle of Very Old Ardbeg Guaranteed 30-year-old Islay single malt whisky, this amazing whisky was released by the distillery's then-owners Allied Distillers in 1996 or 1997, just before Glenmorangie took over the distillery, and originally retailed for the princely sum of £100.

This remarkable 30-year-old Ardbeg is believed to have been a batch of 29 casks from the 1966 vintage and is revered by Islay whisky fans to this day, thanks to a wonderfully gentle, elegant but rich and complex palate that belies its 40% strength. A venerable old Ardbeg malt that continues to delight connoisseurs.
