A 26 year old Ardbeg from the rare 1993 vintage, when the distillery was practically desolate and staff from Laphroaig were running the stills for a few weeks a year during Laphroaig's silent season. 

This 1993 Ardbeg was bottled by Cadenhead's at full cask strength in 2020 from a single ex-bourbon hogshead. These pre-Glenmorangie 1990s vintages of Ardbeg can be superstars - they're often quite weighty in the mouth, with grassy flavours, cooked citrus fruit and complex earthy, ashy phenols. Grab it while you can.
